August Idaho Visit

A visit in pictures:

It was another great trip to see Great-Grandma and Grandpa Wilkins.  The kids thoroughly enjoyed their time!  Justin and I enjoyed the slower pace of life and all of the family time that was involved.  It was great to see Grandpa doing so much better than he was the last time I saw him.  Grandma was so patient and fun with the kids, as always.
We cherish the time we get to spend in Idaho with my grandparents!

Paul is 8!

Paul woke up to a small pile of presents on his birthday.  He didn't want the traditional scavenger hunt to find his presents.
Afterwards, we made a breakfast feast for him- French toast, fruit, bacon, eggs, etc.  He was in heaven.

After breakfast, we headed to Denver with two of his good friends, Daniel and Theo, to visit the Denver Aquarium.  He'd been planning this for the better part of a year and had a great time.

Afterwards, we headed to Casa Bonita for some more fun.  Neither of Paul's friends had ever been there, so it was fun to see the novelty of it through their eyes.

We had a big family dinner for Paul as well, the Sunday before school started.  Unfortunately, Paul came down with a fever and wasn't feeling well, so he didn't enjoy it too much.
