More Smiles from Ben

Ben is growing up so fast! He loves to have conversations with mom and dad and seems to be continually smiling....unless he's hungry of course :) His 2 month check up went really well. He is already over 2' tall (92%) and is getting quite plump too (75%). He is a strong, healthy, happy baby who is very loved.

Justin has his first art show of the summer in Breckenridge over the 4th of July weekend. Ben will be coming with us (wish us luck), while Paul is off to "summer camp" with the grandparents. Although Paul will notice that we're not around, we don't think he'll be missing us too much. He will be too busy being spoiled to have time to miss us :)

Roommates

Paul and Ben became roommates two nights ago. Ben has been sleeping through the night for a few weeks now, so we decided to move him out of our room and in with his big brother. We knew it would be an adjustment, but we were up for the challenge. Both boys surprised us and have done really well. An added bonus is that Ben is actually sleeping more now that he is in with Paul. It must be the blackout curtains that are helping...not his brother talking to him at night :) Paul seems to enjoy having "baby" in his room with him. It gives him someone to talk to as he falls asleep at night.

Although they're still young, the boys seem to be becoming friends. Ben loves (and sometimes dreads) the sound of his brother's voice. Paul is very concerned when he hears his little brother cry and rushes over to try and help him if mom is too slow. It is really cute to see them interact with each other. We are so blessed to have two wonderful, adorable little boys.

Smiles for Dad

Ben has been loving the time he gets to spend with his dad. He smiles, coos, and waves his arms around when Justin is holding him. We're trying to soak up all of these precious times....we learned with Paul that these moments go by so fast...

It's Raining, It's Pouring

Aunt Cassie loaned Paul a rain coat just in time for all of the rain storms we have been having.

Grandma Kate took Paul out to play in the rain. They played in the rain for what seemed like hours... until it was almost bedtime.
